Marsha Marie Rivera

Wichita Falls - Marsha Marie Rivera, 60, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, January 3, 2021.

A memorial and celebration of her life will be held at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home, Wichita Falls, Texas, at 1:00 p.m. on January 16, with Pastor Chad Stubblefield officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

Marsha was born on January 11, 1960, in Wichita Falls, Texas to the late James W. Shults and Evelyn F. Shults. She was married to the love of her life Michael Anthony Rivera on July 6, 2010. Marsha was a dedicated employee of the Wichita Falls Sam's Club for 18 years.

Marsha is survived by her husband Michael Anthony Rivera; her son Michael Anthony Rivera, II and wife Priscilla; three grandchildren, Laila Leanne, Tristan David, and Myles Allen. She is also survived by her brother Chuck Shults and wife Sandy; and her sister Ruthie Daniels and husband Mike. Marsha is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, cousins, and numerous family and friends.

Marsha is preceded in death by her parents; and her brother Mark Eugene Shults.

Marsha was a devoted Christian. Her faith was strong and many of her notes spoke of this.

One of her last posts before she went home to be with Jesus was, "I Believe in His Plan Even When I Can't See The Path. Amen."

Some of Marsha's favorite Bible verses were Revelations 3:20 "Behold I stand at the door, and knock if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, I will sup with him, and he with me," 1st John 4:19 "We love him, because he first loved us," and Corinthians 2:9 "But as it is written, "Eye Hath Not Seen, Nor Ear Heard, Neither Hath Entered Into The Heart of Man The Things Which God Hath Prepared For Them That Love Him."

Marsha loved large so if you were loved by her, she just might say to you, "I love you to the Moon and Back Forever."
