Eva Warne Obituary
83, mother of Peggy Range of New Philadelphia, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2012, at The New Dawn Health Care Center in Dover, Ohio. She was born Sept. 14, 1928 in Salesville, Ohio to the late David C. Stoneburner and Millie L. Harper Stoneburner. She was a member of the Cambridge Tenth Street Church of Christ. Eva graduated from Old Washington High School in 1946. She married her high school sweetheart, William Ross "Bill" Warne on Sept. 14, 1947 who passed away in August of 1991. Together they raised four children who survive, daughter, Peggy (Jim) Range of New Philadelphia, Ohio; and three sons, Al (Barbara) Warne of Cambridge, Ohio, Kris (Debby) Warne of Georgetown, Ky., and Rick (Brenda) Warne of Senecaville, Ohio. Also surviving are her 11 grandchildren including Erin (Seth) Watson and Ryan (April) Range, all of New Philadelphia. 11 great-grandchildren survive including Carter and Pierce Watson and Jackson and Ella Range also of New Philadelphia.
Family and friends may call Thursday (July 19) from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Bundy-Law Funeral Home, Cambridge, Ohio. The funeral service to celebrate Eva's life will take place Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in the Salesville Cemetery, Salesville, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Greater East Ohio Area Chapter, 1815 West Market Street, Suite 301, Akron, OH 44313 or the Community Hospice House at 716 Commercial Ave. SW, New Philadelphia, OH 44663 or a charity of your choice. To the Warne Family - my deepest sympathies on the loss of your Mother. We were neighbors in Sugar Grove, and I spent time at your house on numerous occasions. I remember your Mom as a very sweet and kind lady. My thoughts are with you.

I was saddened to hear of Eva Mae's passing. Our sympathy, prayers and hearts go out to each of you. I remember the very first day I met your mother in the old white house on Sugar Grove Road. She made me feel like I was special, laughed at my attempts at humor and insisted that I "eat more"...I hold a special place for her. Isn't it ironic that Eva Mae and Carrie Mae pass on the same day? I gotta feeling they are collaborating on our oversight at this very moment...and Lord knows we need it! Be encouraged...

Please accept my sympathy in the death of your mother. You certainly look like her. Ron Grubb's mom passed this weekend, too. We'll add you both to our prayers. My husband and I recently moved back to The Grove; it will always be home to me.
