Jack McDade Obituary
age 82, of Magnolia, passed away Friday, June 30, 2017. He was born July 15, 1934, in East Sparta, a son of the late Okey and Cressa (Gill) McDade, and was a life resident of this area. Jack was a 1953 graduate of East Sparta High School. He retired in 1996 from Grodhaus & Young in Waynesburg, where he was diesel mechanic, and Jack had also farmed all his life. He was a member of North Industry Christian Church. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers, Mary Alice McDade, Edward, Paul and Andrew McDade. Jack is survived by his wife, Terrace (Burt) McDade, with whom he celebrated their 62nd Wedding Anniversary on Nov. 26th; two daughters, Jennifer (David) Jackson, and Tina McDade; two sons, Timothy McDade and Michael (Melanie) McDade; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, William and Heather, and their children, Jakob, Haylee, and Sydney, Sarah and her sons, Benjamin and Daniel, Melanie and her children, Emily and Jack, Nick and Lori and their daughter, Cheyanne, and Jesse; a sister-in-law, Hope McDade; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Homer and Jean McDade, Walter McDade, Glen and Pat McDade; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held Wed. at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Rev. David Naus officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Sandyville.
