Eimo G Norder

Eimo G. Norder, 80, of Watseka passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017 at his residence.
Eimo was born December 22, 1936 in Watseka, the son of Clarence and Margaret Stockert Norder and they preceded him in death along with three brothers; three sisters; one son, Eimo Norder II; one daughter, Angela Norder; and one great granddaughter, Addison.
He is survived by two daughters, Theresa (Joe) Sterrenberg of Martinton and Adele Norder of Woodland; two sons, Timothy (Rebecca) Norder of Mesa, AZ and Steven Norder of Glendale, AZ; two sisters, Cora (Merlyn) Mallon of Watseka and Cheryl (Mike) Harder of Des Moines, IA; two brothers, Donald Norder of Watseka and Norman (Kay) Norder of Watseka; twelve grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
Mr. Norder served in the U.S. Marines. Eimo was a member of Trinity Church in Watseka, 53 year member of Watseka Elks Lodge, lifetime member of Watseka American Legion, as well as a member of Moose Lodge in Wilmington and Wilmington Masonic Lodge #208. He was owner and operator of EimosTavern from 1976-1990 as well as was a truck driver for Superior Carrier for 27 years. He enjoyed playing golf.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Trinity Church in Watseka. Pastor Bart Koesterwill officiate. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Watseka with graveside military rites by Watseka American Legion Post #23 and Iroquois County VFW Post #7450.
Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 21, 2017 at Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka with a masonic service by Wilmington Masonic Lodge #208 at 7:00 p.m. A visitation will also be one hour prior to the funeral services on Saturday at church.
Memorials may be made to Iroquois Memorial Hospice or a Local Veterans Program.
