Edward Pacuk Obituary

Pacuk, Edward HANNACROIX Edward Pacuk, age 50 years, of Hannacroix, passed away on August 16, 2013, at St. Peter's Hospice, Albany. He was born in Queens on September 3, 1962 and was raised in Hannacroix. Ed graduated from Coxsackie-Athens High School in 1980 and earned his bachelor's in business at Oneonta College in 1984. There he met his wife Stacey. Ed's greatest sources of pride were his daughter, Rebecca and son, Benjamin. Ed is the son of the late Jean Pacuk and Richard Pacuk and his wife, Jane. He is the brother of Thomas (Sue) of Athens, Kevin (Kathy) of Hannacroix, Matthew (Desiree) of Hannacroix and Barbara (Chris) of Lockport, Ill. Survived by his mother and father-in-law, Roberta and Jerry Minzer; sisters-in-law, Jody Wager (John), Laurie Wager (Nettie), Adrian Wager-Zito (Michael), Sharon Bryant and Michele Ackerman (Joe) and many nieces and nephews. Ed was able to live his dream of starting his own business as the owner of Creative Kitchens of Glenmont. There Ed designed and sold kitchens and bathrooms. Calling hours will be held at the W.C. Brady's Sons, Inc. Funeral Home, 97 Mansion St., Coxsackie on Saturday, August 17, 2013, from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Fr. John Moyna officiating. Interment will follow in the family plot in Stanton Hill Cemetery in Coxsackie. Shiva will be held at the family residence on Sunday and Monday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. with a shiva minyan at 7:30 p.m. on both days. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Community Hospice of Albany or to a charity of your choice. Condolences may be made at wcbradyssonsinc.net.

Stacy, my heart and prayers go out to you and your family. I just learned of Ed's passing through an e mail Donna sent. Know my love and prayers are with you. I have walked in your shoes. My thoughts and prayers go to out to Stacey and the kids. Also to the rest of Ed's family. I knew Ed from our Home Depot days and was so happy for him to start his own business. I considered him a very good friend and it was always good to see him. I will miss you my Friend rest in peace Love Ya
