Andrew Chartier Obituary

Chartier, Andrew W. NORTH ADAMS, Mass. Andrew W. Chartier, 82, of North Adams Commons Nursing Facility, died on Sunday, March 6, 2011 at his residence. Born on May 16, 1928 in Riverview, N.Y., he was the son of the late Wilfred J. and Mary Caron Chartier. Mr. Chartier retired from Mohawk Paper Mill in Cohoes, N.Y. where he had been employed as a cutter operator. Former husband of Madeline Buckley Chartier of Albany; father of Carol (Ed Donnelly) Snyder of Albany, Wayne Chartier of Albany, Dale Chartier of Grafton, Tammy (Steve) Beaudry of Grafton, Lisa (Mike) Cook of Middleton, N.H., and the late Timothy and Bruce Chartier; grandfather of Stephnie Beaudry, Steven Beaudry, Robert Chartier and Michael Cook. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated this Friday at 1:00 p.m. at St. Augustine's Church in Lansinburgh. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Ave., (corner of 115th Street and Fourth Avenue) in Lansingburgh this Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Inurnment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Troy on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue, Troy, New York 12182. (518) 235-0952
