Today with great sadness, I learned of Manny's passing through a mutual friend, Ramon Loureiro. Manny and I shared an office at Exxon in the late 1970s. What I will always remember is his true friendship and the kindnesses that both he and Mafy extended to Claire and myself. Our sincerest condolences to the entire family.

Leigh and Family,
My heartfelt sympathy to the family. I can't begin to tell you how much I respected Manuel. He was a great person, mentor, "Teacher" and friend. When he came to "Renessenz, our career of working together began; as a chemist, I learned a lot of "engineering" from him as a result. I especially remember the last year as we met several times for lunch or dinner to talk about not only the old times but possibly the future times as well. I will truly miss him. We were not only colleagues, but good friends as well.
