I remember your Dad, when I walked my parent's dog in our old neighborhood. If I would see him outside, he would speak to me. It is hard to believe our old neighborhood that we grew up in is now.

Condolences to Neals family. I was a coworker in Marketing Research after Seaboard / LN merger. He was an inspiration for me to learn rail rates and divisions. A real mentor.

Neal was a volunteer at St. Luke's Hospital for several years and I can't begin to tell you the privilege it was for all of us who worked with him! He worked in the Transport office (I'm sorry I don't have the exact hours or years) and was always there and willing to do anything asked of him. He was a gentleman, with an awesome sense of humor and served our patients with professional, friendly care. He always had a smile for everyone he met. I looked forward to every day he came into our office to sign in and out and conversations we shared.
Neal brought me many moments of joy with his very, very Virginia Drawl and lively conversation. I was honored that he considered me a friend, but then I imagine he made everyone feel that way. He is one of those special people I have sincerely miss since I retired.
The World is better because he was here.
May The Lord comfort you during this difficult time. My deepest sympathy to all his family and friends.
