James R.
James R. Coldwell, 78, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, in Toledo, OH, after a long illness. He was born in Toledo September 17, 1938 to Robert and Corabelle (Corky) Coldwell. Jim grew up in Toledo and graduated from DeVilbiss High School. After high school, Jim served in the Army, returning to Toledo when his service time was complete.
Jim worked a short time for Libbey Glass, Toledo, and McCord Corporation, Wauseon. He was employed for many years at the DeVilbiss Company until his retirement. Jim was an avid, competitive card player and a big fan of the Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Tigers.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his uncle, Don Durham, of Wauseon, and aunt, Audrey Harmon, of Wauseon, as well as several cousins and friends.
Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St., Sylvania, OH, Saturday, March 11th from 10 until the Funeral Ceremony begins at 11 a.m. Jim will be laid to rest at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
