Nothing I can say could properly Express what a truly wonderful man, husband, father, friend he was.

I meet Michael while searching for an engagement ring for my now fiance'. Michael was a very polite and caring person, he took the time to be personal with everybody, even a stranger who happened to walk into his store. After a very short time, he felt like a friend that I had known for years. We were unaware of his passing and would like to express our deepest heart felt sympathy. What a wonderful man, one to be truly missed.

I'll still honk on my way to work when I pass the store.
Mike, thanks for your warm smile, hearty "well, hello Ilene" as well you and Joe sharing your baklava with your always hungry FedEx chick!!
I'll always remember the puzzled looks on Stacey and Nora faces when I popped in on 10 November to wish you a happy birthday.
"It's not his birthday" they said.
Mike and I shared a smile and I said"oh, yes it is, Marine!!"
Happy birthday (early), happy Veterans Day and know you'll always be a smile on my face.

Michael Schramm family and Nora and Stacey, I was shocked to hear of Michaels passing , I will miss his smiling face and his Marine stories he had when I went to take and pickup his Toys for Tots , he would never let me pick up the box until he had placed a fishing pole and accesories in the box , he said everyone needs to learn and experience the joys of fishing, I will sadly miss him , but i know heaven has recieved a great angel

We are stunned to learn of Mike's passing. He has been our very trusted jeweler since we came to Springfield eight years ago and has long-since transcended that role and become a true friend. As so many have noted, Mike always treats you in a special way, and his stories never failed to amuse us. We reach out to Stacey and Nora as well - knowing the pain they feel is immeasurable. To the family, though we have never met you, we extend our deepest sympathy in your immense loss.

Mr. Schramm is such a loss both to his family and to to everyone who came into contact with him. I just recently met he and Stacy while they assisted my daughter's fiance from Texas find the perfect diamond for her engagement ring. He searched and did find the perfect diamond in New York, he and Stacy made sure the diamond, setting, and appraisal were completed so she could get the ring in a special place related to her own daddy who had passed two years ago. His kindness will never be forgotten, that ring is now even more special because of the compassion and care he took making sure everything was perfect. Heaven has truly received a special angel! My heart goes out to all of you. God Bless you Mr. Schramm.

Mike was truly a gentleman and a gentle man. Always smiling. He has been my jeweler since 1978 when he designed my engagement ring and my trusted go-to guy ever since. Always happy to see me, I was always treated like I was his most valued customer but I suspect he greeted everyone that same way. Heaven's gain is Springfield's loss. My sincere sympathies to his family.
