Richard Timm Obituary
Richard "Dick" P. Timm, 87, of Sylvania Township died September 6, 2018 at his residence with his loving family at his side. Dick was a graduate from Libbey High School and attended The University of Toledo before being drafted into the Korean War as a radio mechanic. He was a salesman for Higgins and White, a food brokerage company, for fourteen years retiring in 2010. Dick loved sports. He played baseball while in the Air Force, semi pro basketball and was a member of Highland Meadows Country Club. He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret; daughter, Beverly Hood; stepdaughters, Elise and Stacy Hertz and grandchildren, Tara Boone, Richard (Jennifer) Maier, Jeremie Maier, Alexander (Jennifer) Maier, Donald (Amber) Maier Jr. and Raymond Reisinger. Dick was preceded in death by daughter Terri Timm and granddaughter Destiny Arquette. A memorial service honoring Dick will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 11 a.m. with visitation starting at 10 a.m. at Olivet Lutheran Church, 5840 Monroe St., Sylvania, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to Olivet Lutheran Church or ProMedica Hospice.
