My thoughts and prayers are with you in your sorrow. It was my privilege to have Hod on the School of Business team at Owens. I will remember him for his knowledge and skills, appreciation of creativity and critical thinking, and longtime devotion to Owens Community College. May you find peace in the memories of your husband, father, grandfather, colleague and friend.

Hod was a great teacher and a warm and welcoming man. Smiling eyes. A laugh that began somewhere deep in his gut and shook him from within. Wonderful person, I enjoyed knowing Hod. He will be missed.

Deepest Sympathy to Hod's Family & Friends -
I did not know him well, but often saw him read at the local poetry spots - The Sub shop on Broadway, Coffee House on Bancroft and other events.
So enjoyed his works, and could tell how much of his heart went into his poetry.
Rest in Peace Hod - thank you for sharing so much of yourself.

Hod taught many of the classes I took at Owens and helped me get my first job in the computer field to help launch my career. Hod not only helped me learn in class, but out of class as well, with good life advice. Hod will be missed, but he'll be remembered by all of us that he taught and helped.

I am so very sorry to hear that Hod has passed away. I was never fortunate enough to have him as an instructor, but I did have the opportunity to get to know him as a fellow employee at Owens. I was also lucky enough to win a copy of his short stories at an event and got him to graciously autograph it as we shared stories of riding & Harley's. I will think of him fondly as I reread it.
Your family are in my prayers and he will be deeply missed.

I am very saddened to hear of the passing of Hod. I had the pleasure of having him as one of my Instructors in several classes, while attending Owen's. Hod was respected by all of his students and was always ready to help, if you had a problem with something in his class. He will be missed by everyone that knew him. RIP Hod.
