Marilyn Dreyer Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service - Oak Harbor Chapel on Jan. 22, 2026.
Marilyn B. Dreyer, 81 of Graytown, OH died Sunday, January 11, 2026 at Riverview Health Care Campus, Oak Harbor under Hospice Care. She was born June 17, 1944 in Graytown, OH to the late Wilbur and Esther M. (Fillmore) Dreyer. Marilyn was a homemaker and excellent gardener. She was always tending to her garden and houseplants. Marilyn took a lot of pride in being independent. She grew frustrated when her body started hindering her capacity to do what she wanted around the house, yard, and garden. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Rocky Ridge.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters Bernice and Aliene Dreyer.
Marilyn was always grateful to Paul and Brenda Roadarmel & family with the help of Tim & Laurie Buhrow & family, and John and Deb Harmeyer & family for being her family whenever the need arose over the past 20 years. They saw it as a blessing to have this strong, unique, independent individual as part of their family in return. You have crossed the horizon from our vision, but will forever remain in our hearts.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 21, 2026 from 2-8pm with the family present from 2-4 & 6-8pm at Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor Chapel, 301 N. Locust St., Oak Harbor, OH 43449. Funeral Services will begin at 11am on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Elliston Cemetery. Following the burial, a luncheon will be held at St. John Lutheran Church, 450 Rocky Ridge Road, Oak Harbor, OH 43449. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or St. John Lutheran Church, Rocky Ridge. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.crosserpriesman.com.
