Janet Mae Schultz

Janet Mae Schultz, 87, of Oak Harbor, OH passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at the

Manor at Perrysburg, Perrysburg, OH where she had been a resident for 3 years. She was born in Oak

Harbor, OH on May 3, 1938 to the late John and Laura (Mays) Genzman.

She was a 1956 graduate of Salem-Oak Harbor High School and married Roger L. Schultz on September

13, 1958.

Janet worked as a bookkeeper at Nick Stevens Auto Sales for several years after high school and then

worked as a secretary at the former Erie Army Depot from 1958 to 1962. After being a stay-at-home

mom, she again worked as a secretary at Aim Packaging, WSOS Fremont, and Holiday Inn French

Quarter.

She loved to bake was always asked to make pies for holidays and gatherings. She enjoyed doing

crossword puzzles, playing bingo, listening to country music, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years Roger of Oak Harbor, OH; children Craig (Tammie) Schultz of

Van Buren, OH and Amy (Robert) Robinson of Curtice, OH; grandchildren Rebecca (Steven) Weber,

Steven Schultz, Erin & Matthew Robinson; great-grandchildren Mason & Ariana Weber; sister Carol Fetterman; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents John and Laura (Mays) Genzman; siblings and spouses: Elaine

(Clifford) Applegate, Glen (Kathy) Genzman, Evelyn (Frederick) Miller, Audrey (Myron) Nickel, Donald

(Donna) Genzman, Marjorie (Dale) Nighswander, Judy (Gary) Wolf; brother-in-law Raymond Fetterman;

and daughter Debra Schultz.

Services will be announced at a later date by Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor Chapel. She will be laid to rest in Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor, OH.
