Peter J. Rynski, age 67, resident of Graytown, Ohio, passed away peacefully at Bethesda Care Center in Fremont, on December 30, 2025. He was born on February 15, 1958, in Toledo, to the late Peter and Dolores (Gawronski) Rynski.
Peter graduated from Central Catholic High School in Toledo. He dedicated 40 years of service to Toledo Edison/First Energy, from which he retired, leaving behind a legacy of commitment and dedication to his career.
Peter was also an active member of IBEW Local 245. When he wasn't focused on work, he enjoyed the beauty of nature through fishing. In his earlier years, he was an avid bow hunter, demonstrating his love for the environment. He found joy in flying radio control airplanes with his friends. This passion highlighted his adventurous spirit and love for precision. He was also renowned for his remarkable ability to work on small engines and motors, including tractors and lawn mowers, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Those left to forever cherish his memory are his loving wife of 45 years, Mary (Donovan) Rynski; daughter, Colleen Rynski; two sisters, Cathy Rynski and Pam Rynski; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher Rynski; and his aunt, Martha Jane Gawronski.
At this time there are no services. Freck Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Peter’s name to Friends of Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge, 14000 State Rte 2, Oak Harbor, OH 43449.
