Jacqueline D. Covington

TRENTON – Jacqueline D. Covington, 45, died on Thursday, Nov. 24, 2011.
Born in Trenton and a lifelong resident, she was a graduate of Trenton Central High School. She was formerly employed for several years as a nurse's aide at Mercer Hospital.
Ms. Covington was a member of Interfaith Tabernacle.
She was predeceased by her parents, Inez McNeil and Mason Covington, and one brother, Benny McNeil. She is survived by four sons, Robert Smith, Antwan Covington, Jeremy Smith and David Kleckley; an adopted son, Nikolas Jackson; two daughters, Tashonda and Octavia Covington, all of Trenton; 12 grandchildren; one sister and brother, Marion and Mason Covington; her godmother, Lenamae Covington, all of Trenton; special cousins, Monica Johnson of Hamilton, Robin S., Tammy and Cheryl Austell, all of Trenton, Jerome Austell Jr. and Darin Austell, both of Boston, Mass.; four nieces, two nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Interfaith Tabernacle Church, 238 N. Clinton Ave., Trenton, NJ 08609. Pastor Barbara Brewer will officiate. Calling hours are from 9 a.m. until time of services at the church. Interment will be at Colonial Memorial Park, Hamilton.
