Ruth Adler Obituary

Ruth Weinberger Adler died Sunday, June 29, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Karl Adler. Beloved mother of Hope Sue Kendler, of New York City, Lee H. (Kristin Stevens) Adler, of Ithaca, N.Y., and Mara (Helig) Caspi, of Haifa, Israel. Sister of Miriam Weinberger, of Pittsburgh, Mindy (Max) Kovinow, of Lexington, Ky., Lila (the late Alan) Feldman, of Pittsburgh, and the late Hershel (the late Adeline) Weinberger. Grandmother of Bodin and Micah Adler and Shunee, Tal and Omer Caspi. Also survived by nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the wonderful caregivers, Nicole, Johny, Fran and Anetra, who took excellent care of Ruth during her last months and weeks and to Peg from Sivitz Hospice. Services at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the RALPH SCHUGAR CHAPEL INC., 5509 Centre Ave., Shadyside. There will be visitation one half hour prior to services (12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m.). Interment in B'nai Israel Cemetery. Contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
