Amy Shipman Obituary

Amy J. (Sirkoch) Shipman, 47, a lifelong resident of Moon Township, passed away Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011, at her residence. She was born June 26, 1963, in Kennedy Township, a beloved daughter of John M. Sirkoch, of Moon Township (his companion, Gloria Turkas, of Pittsburgh) and the late Charlotte (Becker) Sirkoch. She was the loving mother of Branigan M. Shipman, of Moon Township; cherished sister of Jack (Jane) Sirkoch, of Penn Township, Jeffrey (Dawn) Sirkoch, of Monaca, and the late Jim Sirkoch; and sister-in-law of Deanna Sirkoch, of Cranberry. Amy was administrative assistant For Sirkoch Associates and a member of St. Margaret Mary Church. Memorial visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 4, at COPELAND'S MOON TOWNSHIP, 981 Brodhead Road, with prayer at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 5, followed by Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Margaret Mary Church. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name to Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
