Joshua Perne Obituary

Joshua R. "Josh" Perne, 24, of Delmont, died unexpectedly Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014. He was born July 31, 1989, in Latrobe, the beloved son of Debra (Higgins) Voich, of Delmont, and Randy Perne, of White Valley. Josh was a graduate of Greensburg Salem High School. He spent many hours working as a landscaper. In his free time, Josh loved to hunt and he enjoyed watching hockey. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Albin L. Perne; great-grandmother, Bertha Cherry; and uncle, Joe Higgins. Josh will be sadly missed by his family and friends. In addition to his loving mother, Debra (John Voich); and father, Randy (Jill Raabe); he is survived by his sister, Nicole Perne, of Washington; two grandmothers; many aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles, numerous cousins and extended family members; girlfriend, Lisa Kaciubij; and many friends. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the VAIA FUNERAL HOME INC., 463 Athena Drive, Delmont, 724-468-1177. Funeral services for Josh will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Ron Raptosh officiating. Interment will be in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont. The family respectfully requests contributions in Josh's memory be made to his family.
