Frank (Foxy) Dubnansky, 85, of Charleroi, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010, in the Country Meadows Nursing Center, Bridgeville. He was born in Charleroi on March 5, 1925, son of the late Frank and Catherine Barbalak Dubnansky. Frank was retired from the Charleroi Plant of Corning Glass. He was a member of the Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church, VFW Post 167, American Legion Post 22, and the Belgian Club, all of Charleroi. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II. Frank is survived by one sister-in-law, Lubov Dubnansky, of Baltimore; five nieces and nephews, Barbara Sigler, of Pittsburgh, Dennis Sigler, of Raleigh, N.C., Michael Dubnansky, of Baltimore, Sandra Anderson, of Baltimore, Mark Dubnansky, of Pittsburgh; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Michael Dubnansky; three sisters, Margaret Dubnansky, Mary Didik and Ann Sigler; and two nephews, Dr. John Dubnansky and Richard Dubnansky. Visitation will be held Monday, Dec. 6, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi. A Panachida service will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by Divine Liturgy at 11 a.m. at the Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church, Charleroi, with the Rev. James Ragan officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Charleroi. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church or Asera Care Hospice, 1500 Ardmore Blvd., Pittsburgh, PA 15221.
