It was a pleasure getting to know Ralph during his time on the rehab unit at St. Margaret's. He is one of the people that always brightened my day. I also had the pleasure of getting to know his wife, Marilyn. They are wonderful people. I've never met a man that liked ketchup in his soup ☺. I'm so very sorry for your loss. He will be greatly missed.

Sonny,

When you think of baseball Sonny's name pops into your thoughts. One of his favorite lines were: "Hey,your zipper is down and your hair is too long." A huge influence to many of us. God Bless.

Dear Marilyn,Jody, Henry, Ernie, Karen and families.
When I first met the "Colonel" he was bigger than life. But the more I got to know him, I realized he was just a gentle giant. His love for baseball is how he lived his life. He was a leader, a team player and took a loss with grace. Sure, he may have had a few swings and a miss, a few foul balls, or errors on the field, but that did not stop him from getting out there and giving life all he had. I pictured him on Friday, June 30th, standing at home plate, bat in his hand, he may have even pointed to over the fence. With a mighty swing he hit that ball, as he passed first base he looked up, still going, past second and as he turned third, God waved him home. Inside the park homerun. Will we miss him, of course, but we know that now and forever we have another angel in the outfield watching over us every day. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time...Love,The Bartholdi Family
