JANE SEITZ Obituary

Jane Seitz Nov. 12, 1946 to Jan 4, 2015 After a courageous seven year battle with pancreatic cancer, Jane is now at rest. Jane lived with her husband Richard on Fox Island, WA. She was born in San Francisco to James and Rosalind Faraday. Jane grew up and attended high School in San Carlos, CA. She is survived by: her husband Richard, mother Rosalind, her son Corey Moore (Bernadine Richison), daughter Amy Poore, and eight grandchildren Jane (Faraday Moore) married Richard in 1983, in Los Altos, CA and moved to Sacramento in 1985, and then to Fox Island, WA in 2003. While in Sacramento she was the editor of the Health and Fitness Magazine. Jane retired from the magazine to pursue her love of art. She very rapidly became a celebrated artist around the world. Her art work in acrylics is referred to as contemporary realism. In 2007 she was invited to China to represent her art and would have been the first American female artist to be featured in China. It was then that she was diagnosed as having pancreatic cancer. Jane spent her last three years teaching art as a therapy for cancer patients at the St. Anthony's Hospital in Gig Harbor. Jane brought with her a ray of sunshine and love wherever she went. She will be truly missed. (More information under her name can be found on the internet.)
