Betty L. Dunski, age 84, of Horicon, died on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Winchester Place in Horicon.

The memorial gathering will be at Murray Funeral Home in Horicon on Saturday, April 28, 2012 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. The memorial service will follow at the funeral home on Saturday at 11:00 AM with Rev. Tim Worgan officiating. Inurnment will be at Oakhill Cemetery in Horicon.

The former Betty Lorraine Mellon was born on February 28, 1928 to Harvey and Helen (Preston) Mellon in Waukegan, Illinois. She was a 1946 graduate of Zion Benton High School. On August 30, 1952, Betty was united in marriage with John Dunski. They moved to Wisconsin in 1959. Betty was a teacher''s aide for the Horicon Public Schools from 1972 to 1990. She later worked for Rock River Hills Golf Club from 1992 until 2006. Betty was an exceptional seamstress, making beautiful clothing for her family which included her daughter''s wedding dress. She was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church since 1959.

Survivors are her children, Karen (Dennis) Bleifuss of Las Vegas, NV, John (Shelby) Dunski of East Bethel, MN; two grandchildren, Sydney and Madelyn Dunski, both of East Bethel, MN; a brother, Leon Mellon of York, PA; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1988 and a sister, Jean.
