Mrs. Beverly J. Muhlberg

Muhlberg Beverly J. Muhlberg, 69, of East Petersburg, PA, passed away Friday evening at the Lancaster General Hospital following a short illness. Born in Lancaster and a lifelong area resident, she was the daughter of the late Paul P. and Dorothy Berthold Dussinger. A 1962 graduate of Manheim Township High School, she had worked for the former Corestates Bank for 16 years as an Insurance Clerk. She then worked in the collections department for Fulton Bank for 12 years and part-time with Triple A at the Lititz Branch. Beverly was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in East Petersburg, a former member of East Petersburg Women's Club and volunteered her time with many charitable organizations, such as Relay for Life through her church. She was also a volunteer with the Fulton Opera House, performing various duties. She enjoyed painting and doing counted cross-stitch. Beverly always loved to spend time with her family and friends, especially her two grandchildren and was known by many for her kind and generous nature to all she knew. Beverly will be lovingly remembered by her children; Lisa Ann, (Steve R.) Watt of Lancaster and Gregory P., (Alicia H.) Muhlberg of Mt. Joy, two grandchildren, Logan and Alana Muhlberg her sister, Dorothy M., (Ron) Croessant and her brother, Paul P. Dussinger, Jr. of Lititz. She was preceded in death by a brother Wayne A. Dussinger. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Life Celebration Service at Zion Lutheran Church, Broad & Lemon Sts., East Petersburg, PA on Thursday at 11 AM with the Rev. Daniel M. Long and the Rev. Mary Margaret Ruth officiating. Private family interment will be held at Conestoga Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 10 AM until the time of service. Please omit flowers.
