Claudette Alice Claire Desruisseau of Spring Hill, Tennessee passed away on 10/17/18. Claudette was born in New Bedford, Ma on February 24,1939 where she met and married her childhood sweetheart, Richard O. Desruisseau. They were married for 57 years. She received her nursing degree and worked in a hospital and for a podiatrist, as well as volunteered for HOSPICE. She had a love for music, camping and spending time with her family. Claudette will be fondly remembered by siblings: Jeanne Duval, Diane Travers (William), Muriel Gouveia (James), and Gerard LeBeau (Pauline). She is the mother of six children; Anne Marie Desruisseau, Christine Tong(Heath), Luanne Murphy(John), Cheryl Howard, Richard Desruisseau(Lucy), and Andrew Desruisseau(Sandra). Claudette had 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Richard Desruisseau, her parents Leo and Agnes LeBeau, and her sister Lucille Brousseau. Services will be held at St. Edward Catholic Church 188 Thompson Lane, Nashville TN 37211. Visitation is on Saturday, October 20 at 9:30-10am with a memorial mass following at 10am.
