Of Alexandria, VA passed away on December 15, 2011. He was born in Pennsylvania to the late Merito and Sarah Suniega. Emerson is survived by his daughters Emily Suniega and Kerry Wordell. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Ethan and Connor Wordell and Jeremy, Josh and Leigh Pounds, his brothers Andrew and Myron Suniega, his sister Constance Bond, and many other relatives and friends. After retiring from the Government Printing Office, Emerson lived a simple life reading, driving and playing the ponies. Friends may call at the Everly Funeral Home, 10565 Main Street, Fairfax, VA on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 from 6 till 8 p.m. Inurnment in the Arlington National Cemetery Columbarium will be held at a date to be determined.
