VOLOSEVICH- Of Chelsea, February 14th, Florence S. (Bogdanski). Devoted mother of Stephen Artick and his wife Diane of Burlington, Mark Volosevich and Donna Arias and her late husband Victor all of Chelsea. Dear sister of the late Edmund Bogdanski and Genevieve Arpino. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer Artick-Pellegrino, MD and her husband Jerry of Framingham and Cassandra and Victor Arias both of New Jersey. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Saturday, February 18th at 8:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Stanislaus Church, 163 Chestnut Street, Chelsea at 9:30 AM. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Friday from 4-7 PM. Committal Services are private. Expressions of sympathy in Florence's name may be made to the Chelsea Salvation Army, 258 Chestnut Street, Chelsea, MA 02150. A lifelong resident of Chelsea, Florence, at 86 years of age, passed away late Tuesday evening at the Massachusetts General Hospital where she had been a patient since Sunday. For over 25 years, she worked as a home health aide for Intercity Homemakers and in her spare time enjoyed crocheting, talking to her grandchildren in New Jersey, watching the Boston Red Sox and playing computer video games.

Sorry for your loss. I remembered her when I was a kid growing up on Chestnut St. She taught me how to knit and was a good friend of my mother Mary Plona. May she rest in peace.
