Gretchen was born on October 8, 1934 and passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2017. Gretchen was a resident of Kentucky at the time of passing. Gretchen grew up in Middletown, KY and graduated from Eastern High School where she met her husband of 41 years, Henry M. Carfield, Jr. Funeral Services for Gretchen will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 20, 2017 at Ratterman Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Rd., East Louisville. Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m., Monday, before the service at the funeral home.

What I will miss mostly about you Aunt Gretchen is your loving nature. The way you loved your dogs. Fun time we had at Lake Nolan. I know you are at peace now, with Uncle Henry. I have such good memories, R.I.P. My sweet Aunt. Love Sandee
