Harriett and I were childhood friends in NYC. We spent many afternoons together after school being both serious and silly. We were together during the Cuban missile crisis and talked about what the last thing on earth we wanted to do Her mother scolded me when my I told her my college boyfriend was a hippie. I will remember her always.
