We lost a dear dear friend in Jack recently; Jack was a scoundrel, a character, an original, an outlaw, a true friend, and was a grandfather to me and my brother through some hard times in our family. He will be missed by many, but especially by me.
RIP Jack

Darlene, I was so happy to be the one to present the American Flag to you. Jack was a great friend since 7th Grade at Coolspring Elston High School. I did not know he was in the Navy, He must have went in after me because I enlisted in 1959. My prayers are with you and the children. May God Bless all of you.

Jack- you will be dearly missed by all those you have shaken hands with. You were a true gentleman and showed kindness and love to all. The stories, card games, and pioneering days with you will never be forgotten. My sympathies Darlene, please dont ever hesitate to call or visit. Ill be sure to do the same, as you are and have always been, considered family.

That twinkle in your eyes,
that love in your smile.
That meaning in those Boo Cakes,
that sincerity in your friendship.
That adoration for my brothers,
and also for my kids.....
that shoulder we could lean on.

That dinner we could share,
that dumpster dive to laugh at.
That lesson you could teach us,
that warmth in your handshake.
That time you would make for us,
that fun that you brought to our lives.

Life will never be the same for us, Jack.
You and Darlene have been our special 2nd family,
and we will miss you so darn much, my brother, my friend.
May the love you leave behind wrap itself around Darlene at this sad time.
Our family is brokenhearted for you both.
