BROCKTON---James Markmann 58, a resident of Brockton for the past 30 years passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth after a period of failing health. Born in Framingham, a son of Diane (Fearebay) (Markmann) Frazier of Hopedale and the late Robert Markmann Sr., he was also stepson to the late Frank Frazier. James was raised and educated in Holliston and attended Keefe Technical in Framingham. James enjoyed caring for his horses Gypsy and Stanley. In addition to his mother Diane, he is survived by his longtime loving girlfriend Leslie Dunlavey of Brockton; two grandchildren, Anthony and Antwan Dunlavey; a sister, Paula Markmann of Milford; a brother, Robert Markmann Jr.; six step siblings, William Frazier, Mary Reyes, Jeannie Frazier, Karen Walch, John Frazier and Robert Frazier. I met Jimmy when we were students at Holliston Middle School. He was my first boyfriend. Jimmy was always nice and thoughtful. A real gentleman. I was lucky to have known him.
