Dear Friend...may you rest in peace w your beloved Fred and John. I will miss talking to you and all the advice you gave me for fighting my cancer. You understood. But I am grateful for living next door to you and playing bingo. Love you sweet lady and my prayers for your dear family.

I offer my prayers and deepest condolences to JoAnn's family.
Jo and I worked together at SVBGH. She was one of my mentors as a new RN. She shared her abundant knowledge freely, with love, and humor. She made the workday more fun. The pairing of Jo and Judy A. were my dream team for busy days. They would remain calm, cool, and collected; all the while providing excellent patient focused care despite the pace.
Jo's dry sense of humor provided fodder for many lighthearted memories.
An excellent nurse, Jo was especially successful with the very young new mothers. With only a short time to provide education on self and newborn care, Jo quickly established the trusting relationship required. This valuable asset expressed through a relaxed, nurturing, encouraging approach, provided a solid educational foundation for many families to begin their journey.
Every hand, every heart she has touched will be her lasting legacy. JoAnn will be missed.
