To the Fulnecky family, my sincerest condolences!! Jerry was above all a wonderful human being. I worked with him at the Federal Highway Administration.
Jerry was also a very good colleague who wanted to make a difference.
I will remember you all in my thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely, George Reagle

I had a very special place in my heart for Jerry. We worked together for more than 30 years and he was a mentor to me for many of those years, providing strategic policy and program guidance which, often times, resulted in my career moving in the right direction. Jerry was a true friend of mine and I am very, very sad that this day has come, however, knowing Jerry, he will make a solid, positive impact and presence with God by his side.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Fulnecky family. We worked with Jerry while he was the Regional Director - Region 5 for the Office of Motor Carrier Safety at FHWA and continued to stay in touch until his retirement in 2007. He supported our professional and personal development, a great friend, and mentor.

I worked for Mr. Fulnecky at Ellis Trucking Co. in the late 60s/early 70s, I was probably 19. He was very good to work for. He was very kind and always amazed me when he dictated a letter. He always had his thoughts organized and rarely had to stop to reword what he wanted to say. I'm so sorry for your loss and hope that your happy memories of him will comfort you.
