Koharik Babaian, 97, born on April 7, 1921, in Tabriz, Iran, passed away July 13, 2018. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills, California. Funeral services will be at the Old North Church (upper Church) on Tuesday, July 31st, at 2:30 PM. Her husband, Arakel Vosghanian, predeceased her in Germany in 1988. She is survived by seven children: son Serough Vosghanian; daughter Maggie Vosghanian (wife of Thomas Rochefort); daughter Anoush Vosghanian (wife of Haigaz Babaian - deceased); daughter Rima Vosghanian (wife of Vigen Margarian); daughter Armenouhi Vosghanian; son Vahik Vosghanian (husband of Rima Amirian); daughter Janet Vosghanian (wife of Armik Assatourian). She had seven grandchildren: Nela Nayirian (daughter of Anoush Vosghanian & Haigaz Babaian, wife of Vache Nayirian); Norik Babaian (son of Anoush Vosghanian & Haigaz Babaian, husband of Maria Arabatlian); Richard G. Mikaeli (son of Armenouhi Vosghanian); Andreh Assatourian (son of Janet Vosghanian & Armik Assatourian, husband of Tanya Titoian); Tina Assatourian (daughter of Janet Vosghanian & Armik Assatourian, wife of Vache Yesaie); Eric Vosghanian and Allen Vosghanian (sons of Rima Amirian & Vahik Vosghanian). She was also blessed with 6 great-grandchildren: Nairi Nayirian (daughter of Nela & Vache Nayirian; wife of Erik Dalir); Arin Nayirian (son of Nela & Vache Nayirian); Alana Assatourian & Sophie Assatourian (daughters of Tanya Titoian & Andreh Assatourian); Leon Yesaie (son of Tina Assatourian & Vache Yesaie); and Emma Yesaie (daughter of Tina Assatourian & Vache Yesaie).
