Martha B. Quirple (nee Blilie), of Warminster, formerly a lifelong resident of the Hatboro-Horsham area, passed away Monday, April 30, 2018 She was 92. She was the loving wife of the late RobertW. Quirple. Born in Hatboro, she was a daughter of the late John and Isabel (nee Lipp) Blilie. Martha overcame numerous obstacles throughout her early life during the Great Depression with the loss of both her father, John Blilie and her beloved mother, Isabel Lipp before the age of eighteen to become a successful business owner and active participant in her community. Martha went on to start and manage her own business in downtown Willow Grove- Liz and Marti’s, a well known gown and dress shop in the 1960’s through the 1980’s. She was a fervent member of the Order of the Eastern Star and entered the Masonic home in the last years of her life after incurring health problems. She was a beloved wife to Robert Quirple, step-mother, and sister to her brother, George Blilie. She is survived by her niece, Jeannie Blilie, of California, her nephew, James Blilie, of California, her beloved grandniece, Jayana DeWitt, of California, and her many cousins. She was an active in the Eastern Star community until the end of her life. She was also beloved by her neighbors and many life-long friends in the Hatboro /Willow Grove area of Pennsylvania. There will be no viewing. Services for Martha Quirple are to be arranged at a later date.
