I was shocked and saddened by Mike's sudden passing. Although he was only 53 years young, I know he lived life to the fullest and he was happy. Praying that the whole family will be surrounded by God's presence, love and comfort.

Prayers for Cathy and friends of Michael. It was a pleasure and privledge for have a relationship with Michael for over forty years. He had a great attitude,, was a great team member, and left anyone who interacted with him with a positive experience. His lasting legacy in his community will continue and his life example will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to a consistent relationship with him. I will always remember his focus, drive, awareness of other perceptions, as I progress forward in my journey with a god centered life.

Dear Cathy: We were unbelievably fortunate to have you and Mike as neighbors. We will always remember Mike, and we will always miss his friendship, his willingness to help out, his sense of humor, his generosity and kindness, and the way you both made everyone feel special and welcome in your home. Cathy, Michele, Greg, Cathi, Steve, Taylor, Danny, Brigette, Brodey, Hannah and Lilly--my shock and disbelief are hard to get past as I write this. Mike IS such an exceptional man and left this world so young. Mike is, was and always will be a one of a kind gem. He was truly a remarkable man of perseverance, steadfastness and honor. What he accomplished in any 24 hour period might have taken the common man a week. He was an inspiration for every self-made man and woman.
Please accept my sincerest regrets that we can't attend the calling hours or the funeral tomorrow and Wednesday. The kids and I will be praying for your consolation at 4:00 on Tuesday and 10:00 on Wednesday. Our hearts are with you.

Mike was such a kind and caring boss... he never failed to help in times of crisis in his employees lives, he was funny and passionate, innovative and exuberant about his business...he will be very very missed!

I was so crestfallen when Cathy stopped me on the street today and told me about Mike's passing. Mike was the neighborhood hero as he was kind enough to mow the lawns of those who could not. He also would snow plow the driveways of many of our homes after the storms. I will surely miss his smile and kindly ways. May God bless you, Mike and keep you forever more.
