Raúl Berrezueta. We met twenty years ago. He was more than just my coworker. He was my mentor. My friend. He's one of the best Doctors in the medical profession to ever practice Respiratory Therapy in America. I have no doubt about that. I gained knowledge from Raúl I could never learn from a classroom or textbook. In 1999, Raúl defended me when no one else would. I would say I owe a great deal of my professional life to him. What I will remember and miss most are the few times I would teach him a new thing or two and would be greeted by the Raúl crescendo of "...Oh Really...?"
