Ray Ahlrich

Ray was born on October 24, 1922 and passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2019. Ray was a resident of DeLand, Indiana at the time of passing. Ahlrich is a 1941 graduate of DeLand High School, a 1948 graduate of Illinois State University and received his Master of Education from the University of Illinois in 1952. In 1944 Ray enlisted in the United States Navy and eventually served int the south Pacific as seaplane pilot/navigator. He is also a 70-year member of the Masonic Lodge and Shriners. A visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at the Monticello United Methodist Church followed with a Memorial service at 7:00 p.m. and Military Rites with Pastor Kathy Sweet officiating.
