Marian and family you are in my prayers and thoughts. Though I never had the honor or privilege to meet you, I feel as though I did in fact know you. Bob was a special individual and I always looked forward to him making sales calls on me at Dill Air Controls to review our business relationship but most importantly our personal friendship that we developed. May you find comfort in this difficult time with love of family and the Lord.

Bob was an absolute wonderful Friend and comrade-in-arms. I had the distinct honor of serving with Bob in the 53 Mobile Aerial Port Squadron (MAPS) at Pope AFB, NC from January 1988 - October 1993. He was, without a trace of a doubt, the best Supply Sergeant in the USAF! Bob was a true role model for young airmen and NCOs and epitomized the emerging importance of Family involvement through the inclusion of Marian, Bobby and Alie during squadron activities. I salute you Bob, and look forward to once again serving with you in the mansions of the Lord. Amie and I will always cherish our Friendship with you and yours.

I can not find the words to express how sad I am to hear about Mr Bob's passing. He was my favorite Sales Rep and came to visit me each month. We would always talk my son and husband and his grandchildren. To say he will be missed, is an understatement. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends during this most difficult time.

Bobby, you will be missed and loved for many years to come. You have been a great friend, I'll never forget the many hours we would spend playing football and wrestling at Pappa English when we moved to the Reynolds area. You should go down as one of GREATEST running back in Reynolds history. May God bless your family and I will see you soon when we see Jesus face to face. Love you Little Brother.

Bob was a man of great distinction. He loved his wife, his children, and definitely his grandchildren. He had a love for country and community. With much love and dedication, Bob loved and supported the Southview band program. He was my best friend and I will truly miss him.
Bob, when you get to heaven, look down on us. Keep us free from hurt and pain. You have always been there for me and my family. I will hold the memory of you in my heart. Until we meet again.

Love,
Your Best Friend

Bob was such a blessing. I met Bob about 6 years ago when he came to make a sales call for Holland. Over the years and through his stories, I felt as is I knew his whole family. He was one of the kindest, most devoted people I have ever met, always willing to take the time to help out in whatever way he could. The world is a little smaller without him in it but I know I will see him again one day.

I knew when Bobby Gorman was Class President and President of the Student Council in "63 - '64 he was destined for a great future, and it appears that was what has happened. I knew Bobby that year as a student at A.C. Reynolds High School and admired him for his ability to get things done, and the many friends he had. I never saw him without that smile on his face, and getting ready for another project. He was much loved by the faculty, administration, and student body. Reading what I have from Facebook it seems this was the way it was for the rest of his life. I pray that his wife, children, and grandchildren will be comforted by God's love, grace and peace in the coming days as they face the future without this loved one.
Love in Christ,
