Roy was born on August 16, 1926 and passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2019. Roy was a resident of Hilo, Hawaii at the time of passing. Born in Kohala, he was a retired Chief Warrant Officer, maintenance supervisor and mechanic with the Hawaii Army National Guard, member of the Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin, American Legion Post #3, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 6, Big Island National Guard Retirees Association, National Association of Retired Federal Employees Chapter 2126 and veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War. Friends may call 10-11 a.m. Sunday (May 19, 2019) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel; memorial service at 11. Casual attire.
