Stephanie K. Moros Obituary

Published by Craft Givnish Funeral Home Inc on Nov. 9, 2021.
Stephanie K. Moros (nee Schott) of Hatboro passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She was 50 years old. Steph, as she was affectionately known by her family and friends, was born on June 15, 1971 to the late Henry Schott and the late Constance (nee Maxwell) Schott. Steph was born in Abington and was a graduate of Abington Senior High School in 1989. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University in 1993. She then worked as a chemical engineer for the Sunoco Oil Refinery in Marcus Hook. In her free time, she loved to travel and frequently spoke of trips throughout the US, Europe, and the Caribbean. She grew up spending summers at her parents' vacation home on Long Beach Island, where family and friends were always welcome. She was an avid reader and a lover of learning; Steph was a quick and thoughtful thinker. She loved the arts and frequented museums, plays, and movies. She also enjoyed skiing and riding horses. She loved gathering with her many friends and family. She was a loyal friend, always lending an ear and a helping hand. She had a great affection for dogs and adopted many pets over the years. Her true life's work was raising her three children, and they were her pride and joy. Although her life was much too short, she lived it fully. Steph will be missed dearly, but her memory will live on forever through those she touched. Steph is survived by her husband of 22 years and friend Stephen D. Moros and her children: Spencer D. Moros, Chloe C. Moros, and Cole M. Moros. She was the loving sister of Karen Wrigley, Paul (Kristen) Schott, Judith Larini, and is predeceased by two siblings: Kenneth (Alexis) Schott and Ruth (Rick) Schott Bellware. She was also the cherished aunt of David, Briana, Tom, Darielle, Jack, Henry, Paige, and Stella. Relatives and friends are invited to Steph's Life Celebration on Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. followed by her memorial service starting at 12:30 p.m. at Davisville Church, 325 Street Rd. Southampton, PA 18966. Interment will be held at Whitemarsh Memorial Park. Contributions in memory of Steph may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America at www.lupus.org. Family services are entrusted under the care of the Craft-Givnish Life Celebration Home, 215-659-2000.

Paul, I am so sad that you lost your beautiful sister. Life sometimes deals a bad Hand and she was certainly too young for this. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. ❤ Aunt Carmel
