Thomas W. Zomant

Thomas Willis Zomant, resident of Searcy, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2009 at the age of 58. Mr. Zomant was born July 29, 1951 in South Haven, Michigan to Harry Willis and JoAnn Simpson Zomant. He was a heavy equipment operator and a member of the Faith Assembly of God in Searcy. Tommy is survived by his wife of 31 years, Joyce Whitehurst Zomant; children, Kim Jacob and husband, Nathan of Conway, Brian Lee and wife Drenda of Little Rock. Kelly Lee and wife, Jackie, and Andrea Lee Richards and husband, Todd; two brothers, Gary Zomant and wife Shirley of Augusta, Donald Ray Zomant of Bald Knob; a sister, Pearl Kay Watson of Bald Knob; six grandchildren, Scotty Lee and wife Melissa, Shaina Pearrow and husband, Seth, Brody Richards, Garrett Lee, Antigone Jacob, and Simon Jacob; great-grandchildren, Grace Ann Lee, Madison Lee, and Bentley Pearrow; his uncle George Zomant and wife, Juanita of Bald Knob; several nephews and nieces, Amanda Whitehurst, Lainie Vaughn, Gary Wayne Zomant, Kaysi Reaves, Zane Reaves, Christi Zomant, Gary Lynn Zomant, and Tommy Allen Zomant. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jimmy Zomant.
