Varcey Troan Obituary

Varcey was born on October 31, 1920 and passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2017. Varcey was a resident of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at the time of his passing. She graduated with honors from Crafton High School in 1937 at age 16 and was offered a scholarship to Pennsylvania College for Women now Chatham University. He was married to John. Family and friends are welcome to a Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Bernard Church Thursday morning at 10 oâclock. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Bernard âs Angel Fund 311 Washington Rd Pittsburgh PA 15216 or the Baptist Homes Foundation 489 Castle Shannon Blvd Pittsburgh PA 15234.

John, our heartfelt sympathies to you and your family. My father, Ed Kasun, always took credit for your wonderful marriage because he said you would not have met her if he hadn't hired Varcey to work at the Press.

I remember Varcey, I had the pleasure of doing her hair. Her dear husband would bring her in and patiently wait for me to finish. They were both so loving to each other and to others. I always looked forward to that appointment. She was a beautiful lady, and had a wonderful family. I will not forget any of them. My sympathy to the family,but what a treasure of memories.
