I am so sad. I just found out as I went on the Internet to try to search for her as I became concerned after having no email responses from her since June 5th. I went to Kindergarten with Carol Ann and lived down the street from her on Locust St. She was my best ever girl friend even though our later communication was via cards and emails. I will miss her and hearing about her dream of publishing a child 's book and her excitement of flying down to see her first grand child graduate. I feel blessed that she shared one of her short stories with me. Oh, I am so sad for my loss and yours. I just know that someone is loving her kitties for her. I will keep her in my heart always. - Evonne Miller Trumble

I served with Carol on the local Combined Federal Campaign for many years. She was a pioneer for women in the workplace and had a great sense of humor. She will be missed.
