Ed and Were friends from our days at the Tucson Athletic Club. He was extraordinary man a fine athlete and a gifted lawyer. I write this now because I just now read of Ed's death. I am a single Dad with a 12 year old son named Tommy. When I appeared in court hopeful of keeping and raising my son (July 2016) Ed was there in court as the assistant Attorney General. During the course of the proceedings Ed and I made it known to the court that we knew each other and his presence was a great help during the course of the hearing. I have raised my son as a single father and from time to time contacted Ed for advice, not only legal but in how to raise my son. Always a thoughtful advisor and ever a careful and professional lawyer; Ed's advice was deeply appreciated. I will miss him very much.

I was a classmate of Ed during our time at law school. We played softball on a great team and had our best games against the other law school team . Shysters vs Felons. I moved to NM shortly after law school but would see Ed during our many class reunions. We always caught up during those short visits. I and my fellow classmates and teammates will miss him greatly. My condolences to all the family. Ed was a great role model for all of us.

He was a dedicated public servant and a sweet person who will be missed. He was truly one of a kind and a pleasure to work with. I feel blessed to have known such a patient and kind person. We could do well if we had more people like Ed in the legal profession and in the world.

Ed was already working as an AG in the area of child support when I started as a lawyer a long time ago. I encountered him many times over the years. On each and every occasion Mr. Wong was kind, understanding, exceptionally calm, and always as helpful as possible. He served some of the most vulnerable members of our community with dignity and good will towards obligors, obligees, attorney's judges and colleagues. I rarely, if ever, met Mr. Wong outside of the courtroom but I am not at all surprised that he was beloved by so many. If we could be half the lawyer and man we would be grateful. Please know that the ripples of positive impact from the life Ed lived are doubtless beyond imagination.

I was shocked and very sad to see this. Eddie and I were classmates in the class of 1977. He was always pleasant, helpful, supportive. He shall be missed. May his memory be a blessing to all.

Did not know Ed well, only professionally, but in my dealings with him over the years he was always a gentleman and a gentle soul. May he rest in peace.

Ed was the consummate gentlemen. I had the pleasure working with him at the Pima County Attorney Office in the 1990s and remember with joy his wedding and the birth of his sons. His death is a shock and brings great sadness. Yumi, I am so sorry for your loss. Rest in well-deserved peace, Ed, and may God comfort Yumi, Erik and Ethan.

A friend since kindergarten. I can still remember us marching around the block during recess; Junior League bowling at Golden Pin Lanes; and our high school years at Amphi. Rest in peace my friend.

Eddie was one of the kindest gentleman I have known as a young girl.
He was genuine, gracious and always had a gentle side to share with everyone he knew.
My sympathy to his family each and every member. Few genuine people such as Eddie. He will be with his beloved ones in spirit always.
Hugs to his sons who will miss their
dad, his wife and his sister and mom, Mary.
No words would be able to express your loss or sorrow to comfort you at this time.
One honest man with the highest integrity that he passes on to his sons.
Prayers and strength for the void you feel in your lives.
