I started working with Milton about 2 years ago when I became the City Clerk at Gordo. He has been our Prosecutor for many years. Milton was a very honorable man and always displayed kidness to others. He will be greatly missed but I know he is rejoicing with our heavenly Father right now. Your family will be in my prayers.

Susan,
I am so sorry to hear of Milton's passing. I know God will carry you through this difficult time.
I am so proud that he went from being a Police Office to an Officer of the Court. I know you are equally proud. May your Faith carry you and the family through your sorrow.

To Mrs. Brown and the girls, your husband was a man of great integrity. My family has used him over the years and found him to be just in all of his legal practices on our cases. If anyone is to be with our Father in heaven, Milton is. As a single mom of four, he was there to give me advice and guidance even it gained him nothing monetarily. I will truly miss him. You and your family are in our prayers.

I was so very sorry to hear of Milton's death. I saw him often at Edelweis Bakery enjoying a cup of coffee. I met Milton several years ago when I owned a title insurance agency here in town. Milton was an ethical, hard-working attorney who spoke often of his love for his family and his church. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of grief. You may take comfort in the assurance that he is watching you with great love from his place in heaven.

Susan, you and your girls, and Milt's sister and brother are all in my prayers. I am praying for God to give you peace that passes all understanding. Milt was such an awesome man. He will be missed tremendously. We know that he is with the Lord, and we will see him again, that won't take away the pain righ now, but it gives us some comfort to know that he is in our future. If there's anything I can do to help, please don't hesitate to call.

We used to see Mr. Brown come in all the time to get printouts of his paperwork. Just from the little time he spent inside Kinko's, we could tell he was a kind, gentle man. He will be sorely missed. I'm sure I speak for the rest of the Kinko's team members in Tuscaloosa when I say that you have our deepest sympathy. May God be with the family during this time.

Milton and I met at West End Baptist Church as teenagers. My brother and I spent countless Sunday afternoons with Milton and his family. His parents were always an inspiration to us. As the years have gone by my contact with Milton always seemed to be accidental meetings but it was always great to share some time and memories whenever we met. Milton was a kind and very caring man. When you make a list of the really good guys in Tuscaloosa, Milton's name has to be at the top! I know he will be missed by his family and all who have been fortunate enough to have known him. As long as I knew Milton he was guided by his faith and now he is enjoying the reward. May God bless his family and provide the strength to make it through this hard time and the happiness which will be found in his memory.

Susan, Andrea, Melanie and Stephanie, I am so sorry for the pain and sorrow that you are going through. Just know that the Lord does help us and carries us when we can't walk alone. My family feels the loss you are going through having already been where you are today.
Please know that we are here for each of you as best we can. You can call me anytime you need to for anything. Just know I am here for you. I am not going to be able to come thursday but that doesn't mean my heart won't be with you and the girls. I will keep you in my prayers. I will get in touch with you soon. I am always here for ya'll.

Bev and Monte just know we are here for you as well. I haven't lost a brother but I know it has to hurt more than I can ever know. We love each one of you and please let us know if we can be of help.

Please except my deepest sympathy for the loss of your loved one. I met Mr. Brown several times as a potential client he went out of his way and offered advice to me. He seem to me to be the most gentle, kind man one that you knew at once had something different about him. Every time I saw him somewhere I would always think to myself that this is what being right with God looks like.

I started working with Milton in the Child Support Division of the DA's office back in 1993. Even after he opened his own law firm I continued to work with him through the court system. I have always admired him and am so sorry to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

I cannot express my remorse that we here, left behind, will feel for such a long time. But Milt served the Lord tirelessly and I just wish I could have been there when he stood before God and heard "Well done, thou good and faithful servant". I know first hand how he impacted my life as I watched such a gentle giant reach out to anyone within hearing distance about his love for the Lord and to invite them to church with us. I so wish there was some way to ease the pain of Susan and the girls but there is nothing I can offer to lessen such a huge loss. Unfortunately it will take a very long time for this wound to slowly heal itself. I hope you will lean on your church family as we try to do what we can to help you through this time and beyond. Please accept my deepest condolences and highest regards for such a man as Milt was.~SarahBeth White and Scott Hoag
