Adam NICKELSON Obituary

Loving Son, Grandson, Brother, Uncle, Nephew, and Friend He sadly left us on January 23, 2020 following a tragic accident in California. Preceded in death by grandparents, Frank Ulrich, and Grace & Ken Nickelson; cousin, Michael Mrozinski. Survived by parents, Kevin & Deb; sisters, Andrea (Christian) & Megan; grandma, Rose Ulrich; nephews, Carter & Riley; niece, Christine; loving aunts & uncles, Deb Nickelson, Mark (Terri) Ulrich, Kathy (Jeff) Mrozinski, Teresa Dufour, Steve (Shona) Ulrich, Sue (Dave) Peterson & Jeff Dufour; many cousins, great cousins, and friends that stretched from the east coast to the west coast. Adam was an old soul who was young at heart. He had a passion for film and cinema, reading, writing, gaming and was an avid lover of music, especially the Beatles. Adam was known for his kindness, funny quick wit, free spirit, his mischievous smile and compassion for humankind. Adam's legacy should be summed up by his favorite quote, "Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle". Time of Gathering on Friday (January 31, 2020) from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Ave., North St. Paul and one hour prior to the Mass at the church on Saturday. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday (February 1, 2020) 2:00 PM at CHURCH OF THE ASSUMPTION, 51 7th St. W, St. Paul. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred. 651-777-2600 sandbergfuneralhome.com
