Edgar Ober Obituary

Ober, Edgar B. 'Ed' - Of Rural Lake Crystal Age 92 Died Friday at his home. Edgar was born December 25, 1910 to Edgar B. Sr. and Agnes (Elmer) Ober in St. Paul. He graduated from St. Paul Academy in 1928. He attended the University of Minnesota and the School of Agriculture and graduated in 1932 with degrees in History and Agriculture. He moved to Lake Crystal and began farming in 1936. Ed married Ann Morgan, September 18, 1937 at Unity Unitarian Church, St. Paul. He enjoyed photography, farming, reading, nature, and music. He was preceded in death by his children, George and Katharine; and wife, Ann. He is survived by a daughter, Cornelia Eberhart and her husband Roger of North Mankato; son, Stephen Ober and his wife Kathy of Salt Lake City, Utah; seven grandchildren, Peter and Francesca Marx, Nicholas, Stephen and Samuel Eberhart, Ann and Nathanial Ober. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Thursday at Lake Crystal Cemetery, Lake Crystal. Lake Crystal Mortuary in charge of arrangements. Lake Crystal Mortuary 1-507-726-6161.
