Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery under direction of John R. Harmon Undertaking Co.
Mr. Bowman died May 11, 2015, in LaRue.
He was born March 11, 1959, in Henderson County. He attended Brownsboro Independent School District, was a lifelong resident of Henderson County, and was self employed. Jerry had a special interest in cooking, fishing and helping others.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Nellie Bowman; and brother, Leon Bowman Jr.
Survivors include son, Jerry Wayne Bowman Jr., Chandler; daughters, Felicia Bowman-Mosley (Tenton), Chandler, and Shedera Bowman, Chandler; sisters, Angela Taylor (Derrick), LaRue, Teresa Thompson (Kevon), LaRue, Kathleen Bowman-Johnson (James), LaRue; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
