Steven Seasholtz Obituary

MANAHAWKIN, N.J. - Steven Seasholtz, 45, died May 16, 2011, at home.

He was born in Warwick, R.I. He graduated from Merrimack (N.H.) High School in 1984. He moved to Manahawkin two years ago.

Mr. Seasholtz worked for United Business Machines of Manchester, N.H., for 23 years and for Stewart Business Systems of Burlington, N.J., for the past two years.

He enjoyed golfing and fishing, but will be most remembered as a cigar aficionado.

He was predeceased by his mother, Kathleen, in 2003.

Family includes his father, John R. Jr. of the Villages, Fla.; his son, Christian; his sister, Deborah Colligan of Herndon, Va.; brothers John R. III of Goffstown, James P. of Manahawkin and Joseph Thomas of Portsmouth, R.I.; six nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: A memorial service was held May 20 at St. Francis Roman Catholic Church, Brant Beach.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Francis Food Pantry, 4700 Long Beach Blvd., Brant Beach, N.J. 08008.

Sorry to hear of Steve's passing. I grew up with Steve in Merrimack, NH and played many youth sports with him. I'll fondly remember how he, like his brother John, if they had the basketball in their hands... would rarely pass it off... believing they to be the best person to shoot the ball. Steve, Steve... I'm open!! Pass me the ball!. Nope. Up goes the shot by Steve. 2 points, nice shot Steve, next time PASS ME THE BALL!!

The family of SteveI also worked with Steve at united business machines for 3 yrs but have known him longer then that..he was a great guy and will be truly missed..this was a real shock to find out about his passing really hard to believe..i'm happy that i was able to meet a person like him

Family Of Steve,
I worked with Steve for seventeen years at UBM ! Steve's dead was indeed a
shock to me and many others. Steve will be sadly missed and his family have my sincere deepest sympathy !
